This Urban Nature Connections workshop is for educators of all kinds and will include a morning session of observational field activities.
This FREE event is on Saturday, February 7, from 9:30am-3:30pm
The workshop takes place in the Presidio's Rob Hill Campground Great Room and natural surroundings. In the afternoon portion, internationally acclaimed author and field practitioner Jon Young will present the Bird Language Leaders Project, as well as lead a "visioning session" for this urban nature pilot.
The Bird Language Leaders project is a collaboration with the National Audubon Society intended to "awaken deep nature connection through understanding the bird communication patterns in a landscape." Presented by The Presidio Trust and the Golden Gate Audubon Society, this workshop is mean to be a multigenerational experience and especially useful for those looking for approaches for fostering lifelong relationships with nature.
